((This bad is meant for hard rocking songs from good bands, its not going to be staying in one specific area, but yes, at the moment he is playing metal))
Joel and Viktor enter the main riff of the song, and then the vocals start, both joel and Viktor together in seemingly perfect for eachothers voice. "this shinning city built of gold, a far cry from innocents..."

Alan gets his drums set up and ready to go. As he waits for the song to end, he is casually tapping the drums the way they'd be played in the song. Unbeknownst to anyone (including Alan), the drum machine had somehow stopped working. No one knew this had happened because of Alan's eventualy loud enough drum beats to mask the drum machine's failure without causing a break in the music. ((please note: this is only a temporary direction the storyline will go, as I'll have to see if Joel is okay with this direction. If so, then this notice will be removed. If not, then I'll re-route the story in a different direction.)) ((uhhh.....on second thought, let's just continue the story.)) After their song was finished, Jerry is informed about the failure by a technician. "How could it have failed in mid-song? There wasn't a break in the music or a loss of drum beats at all." Jerry replied. The technician then shows Jerry a fuse for the outlet the drum machine was plugged into. It had blown. Jerry then says "How did the drums continue?" He then got a real ticked look on his face. As the crowd was cheering wildly for Joel and Viktor, unaware of Alan's apparant saving of their performance, Jerry comes up onto the stage. He gets the microphone. "Ladies and gentlemen, please stand by." He goes over to Alan and (unaware that he's still being picked up by the microphone) holds out his wing. "Gimme the drumsticks." Alan replies "what?" in disbelief. "I was only tapping the drums. That drum machine was what made their drum beats." Jerry says "it failed in mid-song, yet the drum beats still continued. You were late, so I instructed you not to play for these two gentlemen, but to play for the subsequent entries. You disobeyed me, so you're outta here. You can also forget about your gig for the high school prom. GIMME THE DRUMSTICKS!!!" The crowd, hearing this, lets out a heap of protest at Jerry's arrogant attitude. Jerry hears this and says "Calm down, ladies and gentlemen. We'll figure out the fault in the drum machine, and have Mr. Joel and Mr. Viktor re-perform their number properly after I am rid of this lousy excuse of a drummer." The crowd is then handing out more protest at this.
