((Allow me to point out at this time that this is to be a rock band, and that song is a rap song... >>))
"well, if that is the kind of music you want to play I think you got the wrong type of equipment.. besides.. I ain't joining no rap group.. I'll play rock, and hard rock..:

Alan then says "that's rap?" He then looks through his music and says "well, maybe Jailhouse Rock is a better idea."

Amandy looks at Alan and puts her paw on her head "Alan we need different pieces of music for everyone, Like if Joel wants he could play "Sweet Child 'O' Mine" or "Back in Black" and Anya could Play either one of these or something different that suits her type of Guitar better, and you Could play "Working Man" By Rush it has a very nice Drum Solo in it, and i can play "Bohemian Rhapsody" or something else if someone has another song for me to play" Said Amandy as she adjusted the settings on her keyboard

"You...you...disgust me..." Anya muttered as she hugged her colourful guitar, like if she was protecting it. Then she turned to Alan and Amandy, revealing some long blue and red dreadlocks, and said "I could play "What have you done" by Within Temptation It fits like a glove! Dad and I listen a lot to them and I learned how to play most of their songs." She looked back at the lemur and observed him just like if he was an abstract expressionism painting.

Joel chuckled and shook his head, standing up. "Sweet christ, does anyone know what rock is these days?" He frowned, seeming very displeased. "Jailhouse rock... thats elvis, that shouldn't even be classified as rock.." Joel muttered, it was apparent he was standing in a room full of amatures. He was already considering leaving. "since it would appear to me that everyone in here has not a sweet clue allow me to educate some of you.." He started. "Different pieces of music is good for now, but sooner or later we'll need to play together on the same song, if you play in a band its not just being able to play, its being able to play with others too.." Joel then turns his attention to Anya. "It is wonderful that you can play almost all their songs, but we are not going to cover just one band, so I suggest learning some other songs." Then to Amandy "I am well aware of what I want and can play, but thanks either way, at least you showed you have some idea what music is.." then to alan, "Dude, I will only join a rock band. I have a question, do you even listen to music? First it was a rap song, now an old Elvis tune.. I mean, d**n man, do have any idea what you're doing? Have you even played an actual rock song before.. like... Guns N Roses... AC/DC... Motor Head... Ozzy... Iron Maiden.. any of these ringing a bell?" Joel huffed and grabbed his guitar and slung it over his back. "If you'll want to get serious, you had better start convincing me now.."
((Allow me to point out also that we really know nothing of eachothers taste in music.. *glares at nikki*))

((I'm a tad used to 80s music. But for now, let's see if a drum solo for Landslide by AC/DC could just catch your character off-guard.))
Alan replies "very well. Those artists are actually ringing more than just a bell. Here's something I know is up your alley." With that, he gets out a piece of music and begins playing the beat. The beat sounds very familiar. He says "A. Young M. Young B. Johnson, I want you to hear me out there. This is for all you bad boys. This a story of the satan rock 'n' roll. I want you to put your hand in your pocket, take ten dollars out and send it to me." and then began to sing "Well momma don't scold her son for what he been doing upstairs. Daddy don't take him out no no. Sister just pull his hair...." He continues playing and singing quite well.

((Only thing is there is no drum solo in that song.. and I would intend to keep songs the way they are..))
"Well.. it would seem you know how to play at least one good song..." Joel shrugged and stepped back inside. "But I think your voice is rather deep to sing with Brian or Bon.." He leaned against the wall, taking out a smoke and sticking it in his muzzle. "Anyone else?"

"Thank you" Said Amandy with a small nod "Now It's my turn!" She said as she quickly dug through her bag to get the sheet music "Ah! Here we go I found it" She placed in front of her and began to play "Only the Good Die Young" By: Billy Joel and sing along with the music "Come out Virginia, don't let me wait You Catholic girls start much too late, But sooner or later it comes down to fate I might as well be the one..." Amandy Kept playing and sing along with the music until it was done

"That's awesome, guys!" Anya said, clapping like mad. Then she turned to Joel again and laughed "Your mind is really obtuse. You talk without knowing. I said I knew how to play most of their songs, I didn't say I only knew how to play their songs...you didn't do much complex operations in math classes did you? And after all, we don't have to show you we know how to play your favourite songs, but to show our best, and my best is gothic rock. Want AC/DC? The Doors? Led Zeppelin? Iron Maiden? I could give you that, but it wouldn't show my best. Anyway....hope you catch this..." She gets her guitar ready and starts playing a well known song by Gene Loves Jezebel: Break the chain, also singing. " It's just an illusion, a trick, a trick of the light, what you now see is really out of sight, It's dark, it's evil, possessive and kind Something that you give me keeps me alive..." Her voice was powerful and sometimes agressive. It was hard to believe it came from such a small lemur. The rhythm of the guitar was also good. When she finished, she fell on her knees, looking at the floor and made a rock on symbol with her hand. Then she got up with her hair all messed up and smiled with her happy n silly sim like expression again. It was almost impossible to believe how her personallity changed when she was singing and playing her guitar. The harmony between her voice and the sound of her guitar was perfect.

((You know, a bass guitar is very very deep.. so that would be saying that your character has a deep voice.. xD))
"There is nothing wrong with this mind.." Joel shot a glare at her. "After all, I'm doing rather fine on my own, and I would think it would be apparent that you all need me more than what I need you. I thought I made it clear that I play rock, and nothing else. So no, the music may not be my favorite, but it would be the only thing I will play.." Joel yawned, puffing some more smoke. "And I'm not really sure what math classes have to do about playing types of music, but if your mind can wander that far off topic who am I to stop it?" Joel leaned against the wall once more. "I find it really funny how the bass guitarist, the person who is least noticed during the song, can go out like she was a lead.." Joel shook his head. He had been on tours, maybe not playing, but he had seen them more than enough to know how the hell to throw a rock concert. He would let them continue to think what they wanted, like he was a drifter, but he knows more than they would. Joel took a few more puffs then flicked his smoke out the door. "Is that everyone?.."

Alan says "seems like it, except we'll probably need someone for a rhythm guitar. I know of someone who might be interested for that. For now, let's discuss this deal." He then sits down at the dinette and motions for the others to join.

((of course you get to play. I couldn't leave you out in the cold like that.))
Alan says "whenever you're ready, Joel, let's hear it." He starts to hand Joel the plug leading to the "Aux." port on the stereo and says "here's the stereo plug-in, unless you have an amp of your own."

(( I know, Anya's voice can follow almost every types of sound cause she learned how to adapt it, from opera to hard rock, everything. Believe me it is possible, I can do that. ))
Anya sounded furious now. "I knew you would say that! You are so obvious! I'm not trying to act like if I was a leader! It's you who's trying to become one!!! This band isn't yours! We just want you cause we have no choice! Wait...we have..the sea is full of fish, why should we want you, mr. everything must be like I want it to be?" You! - She was now dangerously close to Joel, with her hand up like if she was about to slap him. - You think I'm less important, what kind of musician would say that? You... - She turned around as two tears rolled down her face - You better go and find someone else to hurt! Go and find a place where you can do your awesome solos so everyone can love you and you can get your precious fame.
